Any idea when you guys are going?
I was thinking early June would be good. Weather would be great and camping would be a bit nicer.
What do you think Finn the Human, Kinchy & Dr. Steve Brule?

Really weird timing, we decided just earlier today to give Europe a miss on the road bikes and do it next year. Trying to find the time off work around BMX trips we've already sorted out to Scotland and Spain, and keeping the girlfriends happy by going away with them is too difficult. We're going to settle for some longer rides out around Warwickshire and Worcestershire where we live instead.

Not posted in here in ages.
Stripped the Bottlerocket down to replace the bearings, but thought while it's all apart I might aswell get it painted. Hopefully it should be back with me in a couple of days in a lovely shade of ral5018 (desert turquoise).
Finally got some decent grippy pedals & plan to replace the rear hub with a hope pro 2 at some point soon.

Bit of a technical question here. I currently have a 10 speed shimano 105 medium cage rear dérailleur on my cross check. It's set up with a 12-28 cassette. I'd like to put a larger range on there, for touring and whatnot. I assumed an 13-36 cassette would be too large for the medium cage derailleur. However, this video shows otherwise. I have the exact same derailleur as this guy.

Seems pretty straight forward. Should work right?

The regular route is good exercise and weatherproof, though never been much of a fan. Week or two back a mate took me round some of the off piste stuff there.... that's lairy as fuck, properly steep and techy, absolute polar opposite to the trail centre. I dont know if i could find any of it again mind...
