That thing is light! Not sure how heavy MTB stems tend to be but compared to a BMX stem its light.

Based on the renderings it looks like a two bolt system, one from the side and one from the side. Could be two different versions but Im am interested to see how it is supposed to work.

Wow. 3 oz. I say its fair game to rip it off as odyssey no longer makes it.

I don't think that's how patents work...

There's been interviews with Odyssey people where they've said they usually let it slide, unless they feel really strongly about it. We'll see I guess.

I've been tempted so many times to do an oddy rip off thread as it happens so often but always realise I have better things to do, like fapping to Donald trumps campaign speeches for example.

So I'll just say éclat.

I can only see one bolt in the renders.

Yeah?  When did they stop making them?  Seems a shame, considering the innovation and work that went into it.

:(

But then what is the thing on the bottom side of the stem? It looks like a bolt to me! Looks like one on the side and one on the bottom. Maybe they just hadnt decided where to put the bolt.

are you talking about the picture on the right side? that is a sideshot in fact and the flipped the stem (confused me at first-sight) - the stem seems to be pretty slim

it's a shame they dropped the elementary after doing like (what?) 3 different versions.
one thing that bugged me about it, was that you had to align your bars again every time you took the stem off the fork =/

i have one of the v1 sitting on my desk - rode it for a looong time, but it didnt clamp the bars perfectly anymore after all these years...
One time at a park this kid asked if I was pro because of my stickers.
