Thoughts on a replacement bike.
« on: May 31, 2016, 11:48:29 AM »
Looking for thoughts on getting a replacement bike.  A little background, I'm an old dude (45), been riding forever.  Last year I couldn't ride much at all due to a big knee surgery I had.  I had 2 FBM Autopilots set up slightly different for depending on what I felt like riding.  Last fall both bikes were destroyed when my house burnt down.  I miss riding and am considering getting a new bike.  Looking at some of the completes that are out there, if you weren't sure how much you'd actually be able to ride would you build your bike or get a decent complete?  if complete any suggestions?  thanks

I think this would be the best bang for your buck. On sale too. Pretty much a custom bike, but for the price of a stock complete.

I think around now is when all the 2016 completes will be price dropped due to the 2017's coming out in the new financial year.

Sunday or wtp have the best top end completes from memory. But saying that everyone has lifted their game on the completes

I got myself a Model C complete recently to scratch the riding itch - really been pleased with it.

It would have been great to have parents, but it made BMX so much more hardcore and real not being able to buy anything new, ever.

That makes me happy you have the itch and care enough to satisfy it!

nice! Post up some pics of it, or better yet, some riding shots. If you are nervous about being out of practice, don't stress it. There are like 3 people that visit BG.
