Such a great build! Love seeing stuff like this! Seems like custom parts have become pretty rare.

Built in tripod is most definitely dope.

Was Reynolds 921 that tubing they used on Standards back in the day? i could've sworn I read that somewhere on Danscomp.

Where you turned down the "seatpost," is that intended as a breakaway point, or so that you can chop it and run a clamp later on, or is it just cool? At the very least, it's very cool.

Thanks! The 921 has only been out a few years. The tube set cost and difficulty working with stainless.. Probably won't see it used for stock frames.

This tube is actually beefier than a typical BMX ST being 1.25" ...the butt profile is really just extra thick in the welded areas. Wasn't really interested in saving weight.

I don't think so. My brother paid an extra hundred bucks to Dan's so that his STA had the Ox Platinum sticker on it. This was around 2000-2001 I think.

Finished up a frame for a friend this weekend. This was the first 26" DJ style ive ever done.. or anything other than BMX anyway. Totally new frontier for me... that's why I put the wild west music in the vid haha! Cant wait to see it built up!
