Dr. Steve Brule:
What type of caliper have you gone with? A sleek little flat mount one, like the new road bike ones would look sweet on a BMX, post mount and ISO are both a bit bulky.

captain*odadome:
What rear hub are you using?

Yeah I looked into flat mount.. it's the right idea. It's compact but, very tall.. especially in the top right area. The rear triangle on a BMX frame is so tight, it was hard to fit. Did some cad drawings of that and ISO mount and the ISO I thought looked cleaner.. I went with shamano XT lever and caliper. Mostly picked because the lever is 1 or 2 finger and feels/looks closer to a BMX one.

The hub is a Profile elite 110mm 14mm axle.

Rockhard:
So what'd you do with the other stainless frame?

stoked on this, need more info!

I have used TRP Spyres, Avid BB7, Avid BB5, and now Shimano SLX brakes on mountain and CX-type bikes and worked on tons of brakes over the years. Shimano all the way! Hope hydros are nice too. I think you could make this work with a 140mm rotor to keep it compact. no need for a bigger rotor than that on a BMX bike.
