Freecoaster worn clutch
« on: September 04, 2017, 12:29:25 PM »
Hello I have Alienation rush freecoaster.

Its a reliable hub, however i got it 2nd hand for cheap.

I checked and the clutch seems to be overly worn, therefor it sticks whenever i put too much pressure.

Im thinking this is an easy fix just replace the clutch or grease it, however i would like to replace it.

My question is the following: Is a LHD clutch the same as a RHD clutch?

regards.

If you replace both the clutch and driver with a LHD clutch and driver it should work, but will be LHD. A LHD clutch and driver have left hand (reverse) threads vs a RHD clutch and driver which has normal right hand threads.
