Just saying hi
« on: March 22, 2023, 12:16:11 PM »
I's been forever since I have posted here, haven't been riding much lately but I'm getting back into it. Just thought I'd say hi and see who is still around.

As you can see, lots changed, I got my nose pierced.

Figured I need to post a riding clip too.

Hey!

Was it like a back injury or knee injury that took you out?

Yea I tore my PCL, it took me a long time to get the strength back to where I could ride again. I'm trying to get back into riding but I don't get along with all my old BMX friends anymore. I wonder why that is?

It would have been great to have parents, but it made BMX so much more hardcore and real not being able to buy anything new, ever.

Didn't ride a whole lot for a while because all of my friends moved or quit but we have a decent crew going again for the first time in a while. Was mostly doing car stuff but made sure I had bike racks or space for bikes in all of my cars.

Just got my coworker back into riding after 15 years. He saw my bike and went to his mom's to get his, and dug up this relic of an OG Sunday. I got him some taller Dugan bars off a buddy cause the tiny Macneil ones would've thrown his back out, and we ordered some fresh 2.25 Aitkens and a new 510 chain.

Here's my Cult Hawk with some fresh Vans tires

And my 08 Fly Campillo with 36/48k 7kas and female axle Hazard/Vandero 2 combo because freecoasters suck in the woods:

I wonder why that is?

Lot of people are pretty close-minded it seems.

Nose piercings are very divisive?

Our town just built a new park, might have to get back into it too.
All generalizations are false, even this one.

Buenos dias senors y senoritas.

Been a long time, but I'm still riding bikes.  I fluctuate between my 20, 26 dirt jumper, and 26 street jumper pretty frequently.

The street jumper is a super weird bike, but really fun.  I'll post up a bike check soon.

Good to see that you're getting back into riding!

I grew up with barely anywhere to ride, and now brand new concrete parks have been popping up EVERYWHERE around New England over the past 5 years. Managed to drag a few old friends back into riding.
