The Pastor and I are not really sure why you posted this (yes, the pastor has internet access, and has seen this), but you made the guy very upset with this. He is doing something that he does not have to. This event is supposed to bring the bmx community together, not tear it down.
Disasterbmx.net is hosting the event in cooporation with Heirs Force skatepark. Donations, and prizes are secure, but you guys came out there the other day to tell us that you were not going to be involved in any way. You also relayed this message to the Pastor as well. Now there is more confusion with the Pastor, and ourselves on what you're motives are.
Yes, the dirt is in place, Disaster arranged for it to be there, including delivery. Disaster also built it as well. One guy with a Stand Alone shirt also picked up a shovel, and helped out for a few hours, and we appreciate that. We here at Disaster are not quite sure why you are doing everything to give us a bad rap, we don't even know you. It is my understanding that some kids may have talked some trash somewhere along the lines, but that is no reason to act as unprofessional as this post indicates. Kids will be kids.
For the record, we in no way tried to "take over the park", and in no way did Stand Alone set anything straight. This accusation is completely false, and un called for. What we did do, is spend about a week and a half helping out the church in rebuilding some ramps that needed an overhaul, as well as construct a few new ones completely free of charge. If you consider this a hostile take over, than politics may not be you're strong point. I see no call for any form of apology on our part, as we have nothing to do in what some one "alledgedly" said. The people at Stand Alone obviously know more about this situation than we do. The first we heard about anything was when you started ruthlessly attacking us. A simple phone call, or e-mail most likely would have straightened things out.
