The Bike Shop / Re: 22 inches

Another oldie debating the switch to 22" because a 20" now feels too twitchy to be comfortable with. Mainly ride MTB now which is part of it. Have a 26" jump bike, tried 24s, neither quite feel right.

Convince how great and how happy you are with them.

Trails/flow rider, some street jibs, looking for something that takes that edge off the bmx twitchiness death feel so i can enjoy BMX time.

I'm perfectly fine with strangers coming to the trails, on a dry day, whilst being glass smooth, not casing, putting down some magic clay and doing some watering. Basically doing the same as the locals.

If they live locally, not lent a hand over winter, come down a couple times, i'm fine with that. If they live locally and come down all the time, i tell them to clear off.

I'm not cool with people coming down on a wet day, just expecting to ride, no offer to dig or do anything, then progress onto riding even though it's too wet and tearing up the top surface.

It's normally only kids that can be a bit reckless, they don't seem to have the common sense to see if something they're doing is ruining something. That or don't care.

Forgot about litter, it's not hard to take it home with you. that's one thing land owners/councils/busy bodies will pick up on.

I would have been fine with someone like eggit riding them, in those conditions.

However, i do think builders do have the right to be against it if they so wish.

A small snippet from last year. Obviously things are a little different after winters digging.

This view is a very bad representation of the size of things.

Just wanted to contribute with my spot, fingers crossed, riding this weekend, the anticipation is eating me up. I'm more worked up than I was at christmas.

Digging by yourself is boring.

It is. But it's not an acceptable excuse.

The good times far outweigh the boredom.

Ah man that looks brilliant, why they getting torn down?

They're on land belonging to a quarry. They don't want them there.

I never actually asked the exact reason why they're getting plowed, just that it's any day now.

Everyday they get riding there, is another gift they're not expecting.

Everything was still getting really well maintained even though ploughing is imminent.

You really have to go there to appreciate how good they are, videos and pictures really doesn't do it justice.

I went to villij on sunday, it's my favourite place on earth.

I got there, got confused, started riding and couldn't stop feeling so happy.

Such a big thanks to those boys for letting us ride.

Robbo is an animal.

Such a shame they're getting plowed any day now.

Not my vid, you get the idea-
