Just picked up this S&W .38 Service revolver, manufactured ~1904. I want to strip it and re-plate it soon. Purchasing wooden grips for it today.

If the patina doesn't affect the functionality I'd leave it. Gives it character

Surf, what are those canons? Like a 5 pounder and a 9 pounder?

All 3 were 1 pounders. They were smaller scales of the originals, and handmade by the instructors down to the balls and boxes/tools

Also, here's video (also upside down) of the naval being prepped and shot. Instructed by none other than the Master Chief. He really was awesome, that hippie dude was funny as hell too

And firing the "small" one, they had to take the wheels off or it would flip itself in the air.

Went to the range today to shoot my bros Winchester Model 1897, our 223 AR, 22 AR, 223 AR set up for long range, 454 Cassul, couple 9mms, and a mini desert eagle. Also shot some cannons with a Master Chief. He was a very cool elderly man. The cannons and rams/tools/boxes were all handbuilt by him and 2 others.

My bro prepping his shot after I made mine on the green Napoleon.

Blowing smoke out the hole

Here's video of the Cassul, but fuckin upside down

Today was fuckin awesome

Went back to that same friend's house and shot his new-to-him Ruger Mini-14. Most orgasmic gun I've ever shot, had a small kick but you can feel the power. We went hunting for boar and coyotes...couldn't find shit.

Probably not. To put rails on, people take the front iron sights off and replace it with an insert for a rail system.

Yep. They use it to kill boar on their property, if anyone's seen the pic I posted in facebook finds that's him and the gun he used for it

Got a new 91/59! Thought it was an M38 so I was a little disappointed. It was an impulse buy, I didn't even check haha shittt
Still love it though

I shot a Mosin Nagant last weekend. Great guns, it was my friends and they had just bought it for $89. They put a pica-tinny rail ob it with a scope. Super loud but almost no kick, I like that. Shot his whole arsenal of guns that he had on his ranch.

Sammy, our Border Collie/ Australian Shepherd mix. Dad found her on the streets when I was 2 years old. Amazing dog, about 14 in human years.
