20th Jan 2004 for me. Don't post much but I still check every so often.
Bit dead compared to how it used to be which is sad.

I'm running a KHE Astern that I've had for maybe 9 years and I've never had to open it up ever. The worst thing that happened was the slack adjustment screw in the axle fell out one day but I fixed that with some thread tape and it's been good since.
To keep it on topic, I have a friend with a clutch v2 and he says minimum slack isn't small enough. Probably not an issue for most freecoaster riders though.

For the crazy big sizes of bars these days and all the leverage that they have. Maybe they don't break there but I'd guess that they slip in the stem easier.
BSD have brought out their own version too.

Is it just me or do the new front hubs from ody/Gsport look overly chunky again? Have we passed the skinny/lightweight hub era and back to big hubs for all the street assassins out there?
48s will be back next.....

Seems like the bmx innovation period is over and it's now just colour variations taking over. Probably the reason why the new old school stuff is making a comeback, led by Haro. John is doing good things there and my Facebook is on fire with Haro pictures these days.

100 psi front and rear. It makes a huge difference if you ride ramps at 50-60 psi then pump them up to 100. Much faster and you don't get the horrible tyre flex when carving around.

I've seen those before but I can't understand why there are 3 holes. Surely you want 2 only or 1 only.

I'm also quite attached to my brake bastard because it's cool and has swears on it!

I've been riding dual lowers for years but I got a new frame recently and it has removable brake guides that only use one tiny allen bolt to hold them on. I'm worried that I'll rip it off if I catch my foot on the brake bastard I have. Been using a 2 into one cable which is fine but doesn't feel as good as dual cables.

I'm still running the prototype Alone hub guards and after 7 years use, they are fine.

Better to have too much spacer than not enough.
