prolly my odsy antigram front hub. before that it was a 4 year old pair of deco forks but the steer tube bent on them this past month
My Marmoset is still fine after over 10 years, probably due for its second bearing replacement. I only replaced it because A. the second newest G-Sport hub had way better aluminum guards available with steel inserts and B. it came in clear anodized polished to match my Clutch hub.

ah good deal-- clutch parts, I love odyssey

and could be much more likely to be dished to the side if you have uneven flanges and an inexperienced wheel builder

back on topic tho, its cool to see fit doing a re-pop of these frames. brings back the nostalgia. actually just watched mikey's part in Anthem 2 last night!

So has anyone actually been charged or is this bullshit?

I have DK bag I haven't used in probably 5 years.  I do remember when I did used to use it more often, I would get hassled HARD for it being oversized, even then.  I was always able to talk my way around the fees, but one time flying United at LAX and arguing with the manager for half hour, I literally had to pretend to leave, and then came back in, spoke to a different counter agent who didn't hassle, and made my flight.

I'm flying to Phoenix on Monday with Southwest Airlines, and now a little nervous due to the size restriction.  What you guys think?  Time to hunt down a smaller bag?   Anybody know if that Odyssey Hawk's Nest bag is within the oversized dimensions?

nah you won’t have a single issue they r one of the chillest airlines out there

If you’re going somewhere sunny it’s golf or camp gear, somewhere cold then it’s snowboard gear. Also you do not have to let the air out of the tires, according to the calculation (from a NASA engineer) the PSI only increases about 8 psi during the flight

The Bike Shop / Re: frame flex on a 4.5lb frame

You want all frames to flex a little bit otherwise they’d all crack. But how much is too much? Hard to say honestly

You can save weight by not running the tube spacer. Seriously

Haven’t been running one for years and the mid bearings are beefy enough to handle it

Which discipline of bicycling does this happen the most in where it actually makes a difference? Novel concept nonetheless

It's also more durable to run a shorter crank. Less force (leverage) to bend, snap, or twist your cranks and spindle
