God damn it JFax, get it right bud.

:(

But then what is the thing on the bottom side of the stem? It looks like a bolt to me! Looks like one on the side and one on the bottom. Maybe they just hadnt decided where to put the bolt.

are you talking about the picture on the right side? that is a sideshot in fact and the flipped the stem (confused me at first-sight) - the stem seems to be pretty slim

it's a shame they dropped the elementary after doing like (what?) 3 different versions.
one thing that bugged me about it, was that you had to align your bars again every time you took the stem off the fork =/

i have one of the v1 sitting on my desk - rode it for a looong time, but it didnt clamp the bars perfectly anymore after all these years...

www.google.com/webhp?q=h18%20topcap%20fork

yeah thanks, but that only answered half my question =P
but it reminded me, that the tree one might work (still available in some stores)
the cult kinda scares me off with the square whole in the top? guess it has a hex fitting inside somewhere.

to my surprise i found an old wtp top-bolt in my old-parts-bin that fits.

still confused, if i still need the forks steer-tube "protection" insert with the race forks, or if it was for use with the elementary stem only - anybody remembers?
guess it was something about the forks steer-tube thickness that made the insert cap above the stem necessary.

Pre '07 Odyssey forks are H18 and post '07 ones are H24.

kinda the same topic: where can i get an h18 topbolt that fits the new odyssey countersunk stems? i have a sexton stem lying around for almost a year, that i got pretty cheap - but im not into rounding off my old classic race fork topcap for it  :(

Isn't the clutch Sexton's signature part?

That new video is 30 years but all I saw was a bunch of new blood, besides Gary Young.

Either Odyssey isn't turning profits and they have to hemorrhage their dudes or there is some bad shit going on.

i kinda had the same feeling watching that video - i was a bit bummed that sexton only had like 3 clips in it?
reading the statement from odysseys instagram, its pretty clear why he does not have more clips - if u dont ride/come on trips you wont get any footage with your sponsors filming crew.

on the other hand its good to see gary still having fun and trying different things. i really dont get to see many new bmxvideos besides webedits - the 30years video is great , but i still miss the vibe first 3 videos.

This is my kind of bike! Is it a Mosca frame?
close ^^ its a wtp mono (2nd edition - with gyrotabs and mid bb)
i considered trading it for a mosca though years ago. main difference would have been shorter cs.

spraypainted it yellow last year again - only to find out that it doesnt look like i wanted it to, so i went with matt black =)
