Agreed, I only use Larue mounts on my AR.

I have a 1911 and a G 19 here in San Diego, as well as my CA legal AR with no issues.

I bought them all here though, so I am not sure about bringing in one from out of state

FAL or L1A1  ....why would a US solider be using that are they being issued now ?

It is not unheard of to take confiscated weapons to the range in country as long as we have ammo to feed it.  One of the funnest guns I have ever shot was a little Beretta 9mm grease gun.  Full auto 30rd mag.

That's a pretty badass setup you've got there, Jinx!  What upper are you running?

It is a VLTOR MUR with a PWS short stroke piston system and Lothar Walther 1:8 twist barrel.  Also has a BCM Gunfighter charging handle and Larue rail covers.

FInished up the lower today with the exception of a adding a Magpul BAD, and swapping the selector for a JP enterprises when it comes off backorder.  I am very happy to be half way there.  

Now to save up for the CMMG Piston upper.

Wilson Combat TTU tactical trigger
Magpul MOE ttrigger guard
KNS anti Rotation pins (overkill in this case but had them before the trigger)
Raddock AR Bullet Button (in CA [:/])
VLTOR Sling adapter plate

H2 buffer
Misc DPMS lower parts
Magpul 10rd in 30 body mags

I am very happy that I got it together without scratching it up.
