2nd ride for the 2nd Wave
« on: February 24, 2015, 11:45:00 PM »
I've had this frame for a few years now and got the itch to build it up with spare parts I had kicking around. It didn't go like that once I started building, but I tried to at the very least get parts on sale...

Awesome parts, but it looks kinda like a complete bike.

The frame looks completely unused! Have you repainted it?

He is so good that he probably doesnt have a serial number on his frame, just a cheat code...

I'm more than pleased with the color combo and I'll take the comparison to a complete as a compliment. I've been slowly working on this over the winter as a sort of therapy--the frame got a serious polishing, but the paint is original. I picked up the decals to match the hunter green ODSY gear off of eBay. The cranks got a coat of satin black and that's it. Now if it would get above freezing I'd like to go ride the thing.
