Wipperman chain
« on: August 02, 2016, 11:14:33 AM »
I just discovered an ancient bikeshop in my hometown and they have a Wipperman without the masterlink sitting on the shelf. It seems like some of you guys had a hardon for these a while back. Anyone want me to pick it up for you?

My smoothest/most-stylish friend back in the day... also broke more parts than anyone else.  I never understood it.  drivetrain stuff especially.  415 chains, ss/dj cranks, nothing was immune.

he broke a few plates on one of these, and I've still got all the leftover. also his steel ALBES pedal guard...
