Thanks Jambar, I try and tell myself that I shouldn't be buying such expensive gear for that exact reason.

Nope, the aluminum I used is really thick and rigid. There is virtually no shaking from the post.

me and my friend were thinking if groving wheels like those with i dono a thin grinder wheel or something
and then setting that on some angle iron
