my friend found the sickest spot. overgrown, burned down house. walkway out to awesome clay, downhill. got a concrete run up set, and room to make a quikrete bowl. spot is on the wayyyy DL. don't ask, you'll never know.

where is it lul

So, when working with dirt that is, I don't know... like, 80%+ sand, what is needed to produce adequate trails?

These are just for me, not for the public so just as long as I can flow through them, I will be happy.

Future site of trails:

Just a large open field. Normally water never gets to where its at, we were irrigating the orchards and filled a pond that borders it a little high, and some water went into the overflow, and into a not-so-defined overgrown ditch in that field that is supposed to direct elsewhere. So, there won't be standing water (and its all be soaked up already) during construction.

-water, lots and lots of water.

-tarps to put on the lips and landings to when you're not riding. this helps to keep in the moisture. they'll be less likely to fall apart if they're not bone dry.

-also, some people who's trails are made of sandy dirt use carpets on their landings to keep them from blowing out.

-patience and understanding is probably the most important thing though. if you're new to building trails you're going to go through a lot of trial and error.

We've been cranking on a new spot for the past (almost) two weeks now (heading down soon as I finish this sandwich).  Trying to find a camera!
But your flag decal won\'t get you into Heaven anymore, they\'re already overcrowded from your dirty little war.

The locals back home revived our old spot, things were looking so good but i went down on sunday and some fuckers have chopped everything down and chucked logs everywhere! Im pissed!

Gonna have to get on google earth and find a new spot for new year.
