berms dont have to be huge, they just need to hit close to vert to get you sideways... shovel smart not hard

depends on a few factors...

we've got a berm going in that is going to be huge. it won't work any other way simple because of the speed coming off the jump that leads into it.

Trying to get out to the local trails this weekend to help dig. The only guy building hasn't built trails before but shreds them. I'll take some photos when I'm there. I haven't been yet.

No pictures but went to boyd's today to help out, that place is super good and definitely qualifies as "wild." http://digfourvictory.wordpress.com/ go and be inspired.

2011 is going to be sweet. Go digging.

It's been stupid nice this week so we have been putting in work.

Berm to the right is the beginning of the main line, followed by some rollers and the berm jump you see in the next picture, the other line is a "tech" line we are building, rollers to what we call the "in and out", then down into a 90degree almost vertical berm to nothing at the moment.

lander of the berm jump

first left hip followed by a larger righty

right hip lander

long and low through the trees, starting making the lander to the left an actual double today.

after the long and low, and what we did today, not running yet.

quick flick of brandon christie making the right hip looks easy after a long days work, no offence to brandon but I am more satisfied at how well my new nikon 35mm lens performed in low light, this was literary taken 15 minutes before it would be completely dark, thanks to bluebmx for hooking me up with the lens.

happy trails.
