I just got home from a gun show... About 10 minutes after walking in a gun went off in one of the back corners.  Apparently some guy sold a gun (not sure what it was) to another vendor and it was loaded with 5 rounds.   No one was hurt but needless to say I felt a little uneasy walking around in there after that.

Ridiculous.  Any time someone hands you a gun always check the chamber.

At the gun shows I've been to there's always a Sheriff at the door and they check out the gun before going in.

anyone want to buy my Tacstar T6 flashlight? it's made to be put on a gun and used to blind whomever you are about to shoot. I wanted to use it as a headlight for my commuter bike but it's overkill for that. takes 123A batteries.

(sorry to bring this thread up again but no one is going to read about this in the sell/swap forum.)

I got a new pistol and a new rifle a few days ago.

1945 Walther P38 9x19 Parabellum (9mm Luger)

I just learned how to field strip it, and I finished cleaning it.  My grandfather gave it to me, along with 400 round he picked up at an auction in Texas...for only ten cents a round.

8mm Mauser made during World War II  (pics up soon)
Stamped by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken  and coverd in Swastikas and Nazi Eagles.

It shoots Mauser 8mm, 175 grain.  I am going shooting in about a week, should be a blast!

Mausers are a treat to shoot.  The mauser action is one of the best, used on the Springfield and Royal Enfields.
