Seat pan progress. Rolled the edges around the frame rails and am using cut up grips between the pan and frame. Havent settled on a way to mount it yet though.

Welded up this desk in shop. Going to layer a bunch o' BMX and automotive stickers on top then put thin acrylic over that so there's no bumps while writing.

That's cool man.  I have a corner shelving unit/work bench type thing I made in welding class years ago rotting in my parents' garage.  I wish I'd have treated it with a better clear coat as it's too rusted to be any good now.
But your flag decal won\'t get you into Heaven anymore, they\'re already overcrowded from your dirty little war.

Thanks, I might--might not clear this. My dad is using it for his garage for now till I get the acrylic, he wants to buy it from me haha helps him a lot to have another workbench

Handmade Bicycle Seat Bag - New and Old -

This is cool- you should of pressed the seams though to make it look neater ;)

I have made buttons with from hammered pennies before- good stuff.

Have any of you guys made something out of an old bmx frame? I have a frame/parts sitting on the side of my house that I want to do something with.

Thanks.  Yeah, this was my first attempt at using a sowing machine so I didn't really know what I was doing.  Care to explain what "pressing seams" involves?

Buttons from pennies is a good idea!  I was just going to make one from some copper sheet that was laying around but I couldn't find it.  Pennies are so worthless anyways, at least I put this one to good use...

Looking good! How's the bike coming along?  Any shots of the whole thing?

Edit:
Never mind, I just saw the motorcycles thread...:)

i used my first freestyle frame, a bent and twisted chrome gt vertigo as reinforcement bar in some concrete that was poured to help support the foundation under my parents house. that being said, i'm sure you could come up with some kind of frankenstein bike or something fun.
