This probably interests only the homebrewers here (if there are any anymore), but might aswell post it. It makes beer!

I finished my e-BIAB brew rig some time ago. 33l kettle, PID controlled heating element and SCR for boil control. Constant recirculation with pwm controlled pump. Diy false bottom.

Seeing your example I, as a biological process engineer, feel like I should follow suit and build some high-tech beer browing stuff

Yeah I'm thinking the same, been a strong beer fan and working as an engineer in chemistry, should probably set something up.

CNC cut this out of 1" Sintra with brushed aluminum laminate at work. Had the frame left over as a screw up (has a few scratches client noticed) from the previous person who had my job and I had to remake it, so I had the inside material left over. It'd probably cost me $200-300 in material for this and we'd charge a client out the ass. It's 39x39"

CNC laser cut this, about 2ft tall. Doing a small batch for sale if anyone's interested.

I need to make more shit in the future to cover my apartment with.

This summer I'd be interested in trading shit I make for shit other people make out of materials I don't work with. Need more cool things on the walls.

Finishing the basement of my buddy's new house so I can live there. Turning out super nice! I definitely have the coolest looking room in the house as of now.

And the only before photo I have on my phone. But it still shows how much work I've put into it.
