It's only for subscibed threads and only if you set it to do so in the options.

For one thing, it eliminates some of the thought that you are anonymous on the internet. The internet has caller I.D. and its not easily blocked.

Because people feel anonymous they feel they can say or do anything they want without repercussions. By doing this it cuts down on people acting stupid.

Also, eliminating free email services also keeps people who are banned, from just going and re-registering again every 5 seconds until I can really pin them down.

Bg is not the only website I have seen do this, in fact more and more are doing it daily.

Because the one company owns both, its the only place you will get that email.

mine is, and has been a hotmail since i signed onto BG, what will this do to it? shall i start a search? or convert over to my G-mail?

I would skip Gmail.

Your hotmail will work as long as teh account works, but, you will not be able to change your profile until you change your email.

Aparently some AOL users are blocking Bg because of an email setting. Not because their email is incorrect. if so, find your email block settings and allow Bg, then email me and I can re-enable the account.

^^^becuase we get alot off e-mail from bg every time we post. and went people repost something. i get around 50 emails just from bg in one day.^^

You do know thats an option YOU have set right?
In your profile you can turn them off.

If your email bounces, I will disable the account until it is fixed.
