Just saw that movie for the first time a few nights ago. Pumped on Vincent's 1911. Not into the pearl grips though.

Quick question for you guys.. I will be heading to America in July (Florida) would i be able to go to a shooting range and rent out some guns to play with? i have only ever shot a rifle but it would be a dream to fire a desert eagle or some big ass revolver!

Florida has pretty lax gun control laws from what I've heard, so chances are yes you can.
But your flag decal won\'t get you into Heaven anymore, they\'re already overcrowded from your dirty little war.

Really depends on which place you end up in, in washington state, we have ranges where typically you can rent a plethora of .40, .357 and 9mm hand guns. Not sure of a .50 Cal or .45 being able to be rented at least at the places ive been to.

Yes.

Expect to pay a lot for the ammunition for .50DE or SW500.

You'll also probably need to be with someone else if you rent. That's how it is around here at least.

Its not about how old you are, its about nutjobs going by them selves, renting a gun and buying a box of rounds and emptying the magazines into others and/or them selves. Chances of you killing yourself (suicide) are much lower if you're with a friend/family member.

At my local indoor range they rent all sorts of handguns. Only up to .44 Mag though. You have to be 21 years old and its $10 to shoot whatever you want. Its a flat fee so it doesn't matter how many different firearms you want to shoot. You have to buy the ammo though which ranges from $11-$15 for 50rnds. Again, this is only at my local indoor range. Call around and see what the prices are. You'll need to pay for a lane, pay for the rentals, pay for ammo and pay for targets. I usually end up spending around $50 when I go there. That's including a couple hundred rounds. If I go to the outdoor range I only spend $14 + my own ammo.

You should go with someone else, a range by me had suicide renters there 3 times in a year, so you cannot shoot alone.

Expect to spend around $40 in fun.

If you want to just shoot big guns, then get a S&W500 and some ammo, it will go by fast.

If you want to have longer fun then rent a 1911 in .45 and get 20-50 rounds of ammo and rent a .22 pistol (ruger probably) and 500 rounds of ammo and just blast it off.

I have always wondered how indoor/outdoor ranges prevent crazy people from shooting innocent people.
