mine is a 590 with tacstar side saddle holds 6 on the side and 9 in the gun.

i would suggest that you get that.

they are good to have
How would they be with shooting skeet and the like as well?

I'd like to at least pretend I'm buying one this upcoming week for somewhat legitimate reasons :)

It would have been great to have parents, but it made BMX so much more hardcore and real not being able to buy anything new, ever.

for skeet and trap you use a 28" barrel well thats what most people use and you also use an over under shot gun.

i used my 20" and it was fine, dudes didnt like it too much because to all of them its their sport. and i was shooting a tacticoooool shotgun that i use for HD

I posted a photo a few pages back of a friend shooting skeet with a tactical SBS.  It blew the clays apart just fine.

A full length barrel would be nice for really long shots though.

Awesome, thanks guys.

Just noticed they deposited a bonus of some sort in my bank account - now I need to figure out what I need to buy a gun in California :)

Will it be an issue if I still have my Illinois liscence but an address in California?

My grandad has a blank firing/deactivated Walther P38 and I have to admit it feels pretty comfortable in my hand....Although he's managed to loose/break some parts for the safety catch.

Ouch.  I just checked their website and those prices look like they hurt.  I'd say it's mostly rich pheasant hunters who would be into such shotguns.

I stick to my Remington 870 for waterfowl hunting.  I always get stuck sitting in the blind in a 40° pouring rain.  My cheap shotgun looks horrible right now but works like a dream.

A couple of friends shoot something like this.  I'd rather spend that type of money on a nice centerfire rifle than a shotgun.  The Benellis are great handling guns but my 870 takes down just as many birds.

I just got home from a gun show... About 10 minutes after walking in a gun went off in one of the back corners.  Apparently some guy sold a gun (not sure what it was) to another vendor and it was loaded with 5 rounds.   No one was hurt but needless to say I felt a little uneasy walking around in there after that.

you have to have your current address on your license or go to the dmv and fill out a change of address application and then they give you a little card with your new address that the dealer scans along with your old license

but since you have an illinois license still, i think you may need to get an actual california one
