been doing the bessa r3a thing. its awesome minus the electronic shutter that just stops working when its cold out, and in new york in the winter it is always cold out. laaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

the 50 rigid summicron lens on there is amazing, amazing, amazing.

yah, it is. i'll be back on my m6 in two weeks. i really enjoy the aperture priority mode this camera has though.

I had a go on one of these in NY, not bad, i said id just want a leica straight after id buy it.

Aperture priority is the mafuckin best.

I've got an FE2 and a 50mm f1.4 AI coming in the mail within a week.

my bessa looks almost the same, except the lens is DR.

but what do you mean about the shutter? maybe your batteries are old? cause I have never had any problems shooting in cold, it worked well in -10C

None of my main cameras take batteries, and it's so refreshing.  They work in pretty much any weather, ever.

I went out to take pictures of our record Dallas snowfall, all my cameras that use batteries quit, probably because of the cold. It was annoying. Luckily my speed graphic kept working.

I was there for that. It was pretty cool seeing survival of the fittest at work with all of the trees coming down.
